Butterfly DARDANUS MOP in square box

Papilio Dardanus can be seen in all Sub-Saharan Africa. They call him "the flying handkerchief," which he might not like if he could understand... It is a male, with two tails on its hind wings. It is also called an illusion butterfly, because females of this species can take 14 different patterns, imitating toxic species like "the black monk": a phenomenon called the Batesian mimicry.
